Our widely published company is headquartered in a fast-paced design office and manufacturing facility in LA. We design, develop, and manufacture a variety of fa├žade systems, interior wall and ceiling systems, custom art installations on a full range of state of the art equipment, in our 100,000sf facility. Our growing team is Urgently seeking an organized, and proactive candidate to fill the role of Quality Control Inspector. Projects are constantly changing, quantities range from one off prototype's to short run production. You will be joining a fun, energetic and motivated team.

Quality Control Inspector - 3rd Shift Shift Openings

We are Urgently looking for a temp-to-hire Quality Control Inspector to drive all production floor activities. You will have ownership of all quality processes, be responsible for communicating progress, and follow through to quality release of materials. This position reports to the Quality Manager, and is assisted by 2 Quality Control Inspectors for our 3-building, 24 hour operation.

Our candidate must be physically capable of safely pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs. while maneuvering materials for inspection. They must also spend most of their on-shift time walking, standing, bending and stooping. This position includes some required overtime and occasional week-end hours.

Responsible for monitoring and improving upon the quality of manufactured products. Tests, measures, and evaluates manufactured products.


  • Inspect purchased and manufactured products for conformance to standards
  • Must be capable of efficiently performing in process, and final inspections on machined components with high accuracy.
  • Identify deficient or missing materials, initiate non-conformance documentation, and follow issue through to completion
  • Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements for the Quality Management program
  • Perform in-process quality control inspections
  • Meet or exceed agreed upon and established goals
  • Complete, maintain, and organize QA/QC documentation and records
  • Read, interpret, and adhere to quality control procedures and standards
  • Inspects materials to confirm they match drawings and QC documents, are free of defects and that quality standards are met
  • Assist in the interpretation and enforcement of manufacturing requirements
  • Provide information to other departments as necessary
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, prints, and specification


  • 1 - 3 years of quality control experience in metal fabrication/architectural industry preferred
  • Familiar with various forms of sheet metal, welding, cutting, milling or related processes
  • Experience with coatings and finishes
  • Proficient in the use of standard inspection hand tools such as: micrometers, calipers, and tape measurers
  • PC skills required including Microsoft Office suite
